Air Commander Afghanka

The year is 198X and you have just received your new posting as the commander of one of the Soviet Union's many airbases in the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. You wield great power, but the Mujahideen are unrelenting. You've already been notified of incoming requests from air controllers and your commanding officers. Time to get to work.

Air Commander Afghanka is a game about weaponeering and resource management. You must contend with a well equipped enemy whilst also maintaining your aircraft and munition stockpiles.

HOW TO PLAY:

Select Aircraft to send on missions, equip them with the best weapon for the job, make sure the aircraft are in working order by assigning repair crews when they are damaged (repair crews repair 2 HP per turn), make sure you manage your supplies so that they last until the next supply convoy, use favor from successful missions to improve your situation. You can potentially gain more replacements every convoy.

SAMs and HMGs could be anywhere, so always be careful. Jets are much less likely to be downed by SAMs or HMGs, but are much worse at searching for targets do their poor visibility.

The game is currently in extremely early development, most planned features are yet to come. Including but not limited to;
- Progression (Campaigns, unlocking new equipment, etc)

- Art

- Campaigns

- Events

- Overarching game objectives

- More dynamic targets

Long term plan is to continue development when I have the time and to eventually get it to the point where it deserves to be put on Steam (if we get that far).
